How to Integrate Facebook with LenoChat
Integrating your Facebook account with LenoChat allows you to manage all your Messenger communications directly from the LenoChat panel. Follow these steps to set up the integration.
- Log in to your LenoChat admin panel.
- Navigate to Settings and select Integrations> Facebook Messenger.
- Click on the Connect Facebook button.
- A pop-up window will prompt you to log into your Facebook account.
- Enter your Facebook credentials to proceed.
- Review and allow access permissions for the Facebook Page(s) you wish to integrate.
- Ensure all permissions are enabled for the integration to function correctly.
- LenoChat will display a list of Pages you administer.
- Select the Page(s) you want to connect with LenoChat.
- After selecting the desired Pages, confirm the integration.
- A message will indicate that your Facebook Page is now linked to LenoChat.
Handling Messenger Chats in LenoChat
Once integrated, you can manage all Messenger conversations within the LenoChat panel:
Testing the Integration:
• Visit your Facebook Page and send a test message.
• The message should appear in your LenoChat panel under the Messenger channel.
Responding to Messages:
• Reply directly from LenoChat.
• Your responses will be delivered to the user’s Messenger app as if sent from Facebook.
Important Note: According to Meta/Facebook policy, you have up to 7 days to respond to incoming messages. If you do not reply within this timeframe, you will only regain the ability to message that user if they initiate contact again.
Troubleshooting Tips
Facebook API Loading Error:
• If you encounter a "Facebook API Couldn't be loaded" error, try using Google Chrome for the integration, as this issue is common with Firefox.
Persistent Issues:
• Navigate to Facebook > Settings & Privacy > Privacy Center > Facebook Settings > Business Integration.
• Remove LenoChat from the list of integrations.
• Reauthorise the Messenger integration in LenoChat.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly integrate Facebook Messenger with LenoChat, centralising your customer communications for more efficient management.
