How to Connect Your Instagram Account to LenoChat

What Do I Need Before Connecting Instagram to LenoChat?
Before you connect, make sure you have the following:
1.An Instagram Business Account
Your Instagram account must be set to Business (not Personal or Creator). This is required for third-party message integrations.

2.Instagram Linked to a Facebook Page
Your Instagram Business account must be connected to a Facebook Page, and you must be an Admin of that Page.

3. Message Access Enabled
Instagram requires you to enable a setting that allows third-party apps like LenoChat to access your messages.

🔌 How Do I Connect Instagram to LenoChat?
Follow these steps to connect your Instagram account:
1. Log in to your LenoChat dashboard.
2. Go to Settings > Integrations and click Connect with Facebook Button.
3. Log into your Facebook account when prompted.
4. Select the Instagram Business account you want to connect.
5. Grant LenoChat permission to access Instagram messages.
Once complete, you can receive and reply to Instagram DMs directly in LenoChat.
📲 How Do I Allow Access to Messages on Instagram?
If this setting is not enabled, LenoChat cannot receive your Instagram messages.
To enable message access:
• Open the Instagram app on your phone.
• Go to your profile and tap the menu icon (☰).
• Tap Settings and Privacy.
• Scroll down to the section titled Messages and Story Replies.
• Tap Message Controls.
• Turn ON the toggle for Allow Access to Messages.
This allows third-party tools like LenoChat to read and manage your Instagram DMs.
How do I manage multiple Instagram accounts in LenoChat?
You can integrate multiple separate Instagram accounts with LenoChat, just like you can with Facebook Pages. You can do this using a single Facebook login, as long as that login has Admin access to the relevant Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional accounts in the same Meta Business. During the connect flow, you’ll select which Pages and Instagram accounts to integrate.

How do I add more Instagram accounts after I've already connected?
To add another Instagram account, run the connect flow again. You need to disconnect the current one and connect again. If the account doesn't appear:
1. Make sure it's a Professional account (Business or Creator)
2. Confirm it's linked to a Page you administer
3. Refresh permissions or reconnect if needed

If your Instagram account doesn't appear, check the following:
• Not a Business Account ➡️ Switch to a Business account in Instagram settings
