Connecting WhatsApp to LenoChat

Want to talk to your customers directly on WhatsApp? With LenoChat, you can easily integrate your WhatsApp Business account and manage all conversations from one place — no need to switch tabs or devices. This guide walks you through everything you need to get started.

✅ What You’ll Need Before You Start

To successfully connect WhatsApp to LenoChat, make sure you have the following:

📌 Facebook Business Manager Admin Access
You must be an admin of a verified Facebook Business Manager account. If you don’t have one, create it here.

📞 A Business Phone Number
This number must:
• Be owned by your company (not a personal number).
• Be able to receive calls or SMS for verification.

⚙️ How to Connect WhatsApp to LenoChat

Once you’re ready, follow these simple steps:

1. Click “Connect WhatsApp”
In your LenoChat dashboard, go to IntegrationsWhatsApp, then click Connect WhatsApp.
You’ll be prompted to log into your Facebook Business Manager account.

2. Choose or Register a WhatsApp Business Number
You’ll have two options:
• Use an existing number connected to WhatsApp Business.
• Register a new number during the setup.

📌 Reminder: The number must be able to receive a verification code via SMS or phone call.

3. Complete Facebook’s Guided Setup
Enter the required details such as:
• Business name and category
• Business website
• Display name for WhatsApp
• Phone number to register

💡 You’ll go through a quick verification process (SMS or phone call). Once verified, Meta will provision your number for WhatsApp Business API use.

4. Start Messaging on WhatsApp! 🎉
That’s it! Once connected, you can:
• View and reply to messages from WhatsApp directly inside LenoChat.
• Enjoy 1,000 free conversations per month through WhatsApp (provided by Meta).
• Use automation, AI Copilot, or assign messages to human agents.

💬 What Counts as a WhatsApp Conversation?

WhatsApp charges businesses per 24-hour conversation window, not per message. Here’s how it works:

✅ The first 1,000 conversations per month are free.

A new conversation begins when:
• You message a user and 24 hours have passed since the last interaction.
• A user initiates a chat outside of an existing 24-hour session.

✅ You can view your usage directly within the LenoChat → Traffic or Channel Settings section.
